A culture of regular feedback and identifying the advantages of employees plays a key role in any organisation that wants to develop in an ever-changing environment. In the Culture module, eHRM combines peer-to-peer feedback with the kudos feature.
Feedback
Regular and quickly obtained peer-to-peer feedback is essential for any company. Employees present an excellent source of information, as they are familiar with the different aspects of their colleagues’ work – sometimes they have better and different insights than managers.
eHRM’s functionality enables each employee to pose questions to their team members or other employees about their work, allowing them to obtain different opinions. For example:
- How well did I do in the last sales meeting?
- How would you assess my last presentation in the kick-off meeting?
- What can I further improve in my management of our team?
With opinions about the execution of each task, employees can learn about the areas where they are deemed successful and the areas with room for improvement. Regular feedback presents an opportunity for self-assessment and the development of skills. It is the fastest and most efficient way of learning because high-quality feedback allows employees to grow and develop based on concrete examples.
Kudos
Identifying the advantages of employees plays a key role in any organisation that wants to develop in an ever-changing environment. This calls for regular and quickly obtained feedback about the advantages and desired behaviours of employees. With the kudos feature, each employee can learn about their strengths and advantages, which they can use to improve their performance. This way, a company can nurture an organisational culture based on positive feedback and learning.
eHRM’s functionality enables each employee to give kudos to their team members or other employees for their performance, attitude to work, outstanding achievements, and similar. Kudos contains predefined content (Thank you, Excellent, I appreciate it, Great, Well done, Exceptional); however, each company can customise this content based on its specific culture (e.g. company values) or wishes.
