Nataša took part in a roundtable organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia

We had the privilege of sharing our expertise on the key challenges of implementing new technologies. Nataša Dremelj, our HRM Program Manager, participated in the roundtable discussion “Workforce and Technology” at the invitation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.

During the 1st Trends in Retail Conference, the conversation revolved around pressing topics such as employee retention, bridging generational gaps and diverse training opportunities. HRM Program Manager Nataša Dremelj emphasized the importance of intuitive tools, respectful treatment of all employees and comprehensive support throughout the technology adoption process.

Here are some key takeaways from her contribution:

  • Introducing new technologies is not about dividing employees into younger and older groups, but about encouraging a shared willingness to adapt to change.
  • Digital tools should be simple and user-friendly to avoid frustration or embarrassment. It is important to approach all employees with respect and avoid condescension.
  • Even the most intuitive digital products can trigger fear of change. To ensure a smooth transition, companies need to address these concerns holistically.
  • Information about new technologies should be communicated in a way that addresses different learning styles.
  • For employees with lower digital skills, companies can introduce “digitalization ambassadors” – team members who provide one-on-one support and guidance.

Nataša was joined on the panel by Anita Lovše from Competo d.o.o. and Nedo Beširović from RMI d.o.o.
